Very nice stool and chair : Safco 3442BL Metro Extended Height Swivel/Tilt Chair, 22-33 Seat Height, Black/Fabric
I have been please so far with this chair until today. My employee was leaning to the side to grab something off the table and the leg broke clean off.. 1/2! There are 5 legs total thankful because she would have been hurt if not. She is only 120lbs and i am around 215lbs (not fat) so we are the only 2 people who use this chair. Well i hate to bash a product and that i am not going to do.. but i will mentioned that the legs should have been made out of Steel not Aluminum! The chair sets up at it highest point when erected (this is a plus if you have high counters) so this chair is great if you do not have it set to the highest point..
The other downside to this chair is the fact that the armrest are not included.
I looked around for a chair that would suit my needs and it was hard to find a comfortable chair that did not cost a ton of money.. So i read EVERY review online
about these type of chairs.. and to be honest there are not too many that can set this high and not be consider a bar stool or drafting chair.. So here is how i am going to rate it. 1 -5 stars
4 stars >Design (simple) They should offer different colors or materials
4 stars> Comfort ( this will depend of course on you weight and how high the chair sets.
3 stars> Foot Rest ( this tends to come loose and slide down do i stopped trying to re-tighten it.
2 stars> Wheels/legs ( sturdy if you are setting lower not too sturdy if you are setting at its' highest point)
3 stars> Rear back rest ( somewhat comfortable but not adjustable at all. I figured by the picture it had some sort of knob on it that would allow you to set the stiffness of it.. NOPE)

Over all this chair is Good and may work for someone who does set all day. The fact that it is in my shop the chair is set to the highest point. unless you are 6 foot and getting on and off this all day long it becomes somewhat of a chore. I am 5' 9" and i can tell you that when the chair is compressed/setting on it and i have to get up right away because of customers/etc/ the chair springs up like it should but i can see how this too could cause it to receive damage to the Shock/Shaft...
3 stars is where i stand.
